Shelly

When I was nine my mom took me to the salon to get my long hair cut into some horrible 80’s atrocity that I loved at the time. I looked so different! I looked older! It blew my mind that a haircut could do that. I knew right then that I wanted to be a stylist, and immediately went home and cut Barbie’s hair.”

With 20+ years in the industry, Shelly still loves to see how a different cut, color or style can transform her clients. She is just as passionate about her craft as she was on day one, and is continually learning how to improve her skills, whether by taking classes or watching online tutorials with the Lemon crew when they get some downtime.

Waldir

With over 20 years of international experience, this gregarious Brasilian aims to please his clients through expert consultation and creative hair designs. Waldir began his career as a stylist in his native Sao Paulo, Brasil and practiced in Washington D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, before relocating to St. Louis. Waldir sharpens his skills through continuing education and training with notable institutions, such as Bumble & Bumble University in New York, Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami, Graham Webb Academy in Washington D.C., and Redken Exchange, as well as numerous classes with industry leaders. With a great sense of humor, Waldir infuses traditional and innovative hairstyling techniques to help ensure clients leave his chair feeling beautiful and beautifully entertained.

He's been a wonderful addition to our team, bringing both laughter and skill at the same time! We're sure you'll enjoy his company as much as we do!

Her eager and enthusiastic personality shows for it. Tori is always up-to-date with the latest styles and trends, and specializes in hair painting and styling, with an extra passion for beachy waves. As the lead stylist and makeup artist for bridal parties, Tori loves to create beautiful and stylish looks that leave her clients feeling as confident as ever!

Elisha

My journey into the hair world started about 12 years ago; shortly after graduating High School, I moved to Hawaii with intentions of ‘finding myself’ and figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. As fate had it, the Hair Industry found me while working part time at a coffee shop, where I had the opportunity to connect with creatives in the industry. I was lovingly brought into the hair world and after some time started an apprenticeship that lasted close to three years. I have done hair in Honolulu, Seattle and now in my current hometown, St. Louis.

In the middle of it all, I decided to take a break from hairdressing to start a family, but even still while out of the salon there was still that pull for me to be involved in using my hands and creativity, so I started my own small business, Sh-i, which is an independent line of handmade jewelry.

I believe in hair that fits your lifestyle. I like doing classic haircuts because they are timeless and when done right never goes out of style, and when given the right opportunity to add a little edge. I enjoy the precision in shorter and mid length haircuts and working with each client individually to find a style that is personalized and will work with their hair texture and face shape. My hope is for the client to leave my chair feeling good about the service and their new hairstyle and feeling confident with being able to maintain the style on their own between visits.
